Terms of service

These terms apply when you use MarineIdeas, a platform operated by Exaqube ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them, and to our privacy policy. If you use MarineIdeas on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your sign-in secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity on it.
• Organisation accounts must be registered with a company email domain. Organisation administrators manage who belongs to their organisation and what role they have.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use MarineIdeas.

• Your resume and profile must be your own and truthful.
• Assessments and certifications must be taken by you alone, without help from other people, tools or material unless the assessment allows it. Proctored assessments use your webcam and record integrity events.
• Your profile photo must be a clear, real photo of you. It is used to confirm your identity in proctored assessments.
• Certifications have a limited number of attempts. We may withdraw a result or certificate obtained through cheating or impersonation.

• Use candidate data only for genuine recruitment, and handle it in line with the laws that apply to you.
• Have a lawful basis for any resume you upload for a candidate who has not yet joined MarineIdeas, and only invite people who expect to hear from you.
• Scores, rankings, AI interview reports and identity checks support your judgement. Hiring decisions remain yours, and you are responsible for them.
• Keep job descriptions and documents you publish accurate and lawful.

Do not:

• Copy, scrape or resell question banks, assessments, templates or other platform content.
• Share assessment questions or answers.
• Upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that you have no right to share.
• Try to break, overload or get around the security of the platform.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent a certification.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to run the platform for you and for the organisations you share it with.

Job description templates, digital assets, certifications, question banks, insights and the platform itself belong to us or our licensors. You may use library templates and documents within your own organisation, but not republish or sell them as a collection.

A MarineIdeas certification shows that a candidate passed our assessment for a skill group on a given date. It is not a government, flag-state or regulatory qualification and does not replace one. Anyone can verify a certificate through the link printed on it.

Paid plans are billed as shown at the time of purchase and processed by Razorpay. Prices and plan features may change, and we will tell you before a change affects a plan you have already paid for. For billing questions, write to contact@exaqube.com.

We work to keep MarineIdeas available and accurate, but we provide it "as is". AI-generated scores, summaries, questions and reports can contain mistakes, and templates and documents are a starting point that you should check against your own requirements. We may change or retire features over time.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for hiring decisions made using the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using MarineIdeas and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership and liability, survive after an account is closed.

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. Significant changes will be emailed to account holders. Questions are welcome at contact@exaqube.com.
